The Vibe Dance Center offers a variety of class levels and age groups to make sure your dancer is placed appropriately at all times and is being challenged. Please view our current schedule and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
The Vibe offers a variety of styles inside each class designed by level and age including lyrical, contemporary, traditional and musical theatre. Our Lyrical Jazz Classes are designed for the intermediate/advanced Jazz dancer with a focus on expression and interpretation of the music and its lyrics
Hip Hop Program:
Classes are taught in an urban, street style with an emphasis on strong presence and moves while staying true to the culture and history behind the dance form. Each instructor has their own style with a commercial or contemporary twist. Instructors seek continous training to keep up with the evolving trends and styles.
Breakin’ Program:
Classes allow breakers of all ages and levels to have an environment to learn, train, practice and battle.
Acro Program:
The Vibe currently offers the only acro Dance Program in Central Oregon. This style is a blend of dance, gymnastics and stunts. With a variety of class levels, dancers can learn the basic elements in a controlled and safe environment.
Tap Program:
We offer tap in a rhythm style which is rhythm based with a reliance on time signature and the breakdown of the rhythms. Tap classes may perform a variety of styles. or higher with a focus on expression and interpretation of the music and its lyrics.
In addition to our recreation classes, we offer dancers the opportunity to audition to participate in one of our competition programs.
Competition Classes:
The Vibe Dance Center offers a competition program where dancers are able to compete annually at the regional leval and every other year at the National level. Auditions for our Hiip Hop, Acro and Breakin' competition programs will be held in April 2009 for the 2009-2010 dance season. Competition dancers are required to take additional classes.
Monthly Tuition
Monthly tuition is based on the number of classes an individual, or family (immediate family) takes per week.
